MSC Cruises and Formula 1® join forces to launch a unique Grand Prix™ experience.

Sales for a range of packages and different experiences on board the MSC Virtuosa for the FORMULA 1® ETIHAD AIRWAYS ABU DHABI GRAND PRIX™ 2023 have opened. A wide range of packages have been made available, combining accommodation, race tickets, and exclusive access from the inside. Fans will enjoy a perfect experience that extends the excitement of the track to the accommodation on board the cruise ship.
As part of the Global Partnership between MSC Cruises and Formula 1®, a unique and state-of-the-art Grand Prix™ offer has been unveiled today, promising an unparalleled racing experience at this year's FORMULA 1® ETIHAD AIRWAYS ABU DHABI GRAND PRIX™ from November 24th to 26th. The new collaboration takes race weekend accommodation to the next level by offering a Grand Prix™ experience that brings the emotions of the final race of the season from the track to on board the MSC Virtuosa, one of the most modern and elegant cruise ships of the line.
Serving as a hotel throughout the race weekend while docked at the Abu Dhabi cruise terminal, the elegant MSC Virtuosa offers comfortable accommodation combined with an incredible range of facilities, including restaurants and bars, two theaters, a shopping center, luxurious spa and fully equipped gym, five swimming pools, an interactive water park, extended children's areas, and much more!
In 2022, MSC Cruises signed a multi-year agreement to become a Global Formula 1® Partner, and this new collaboration is a further enhancement of the partnership, which was established to bring together two world leaders in their respective fields to drive change through their shared passion for excellence, sustainability, and global entertainment. Different packages are available, including accommodation, race tickets, and exclusive access inside with F1® Experiences to make the race weekend truly unforgettable.
For accommodation, elegant cabins or deluxe apartments on board the MSC Virtuosa are available, all with half-board (breakfast and dinner), free Wi-Fi, and transfers to and from the track. Packages start with accommodation-only options in the selected cabin for those who already have race tickets or a cabin + Formula 1® ticket option. For hardcore fans looking for the ultimate Formula 1® weekend, there is a range of cabin + F1® Experience options, which include exclusive track activities and premium all-inclusive hospitality (Turn 1 Suite, Paddock Club, and Legend), including exclusive access for individuals from the inside such as Pit Lane Walk, Guided Track Tour, appearances with Formula 1® staff, and much more.
The Abu Dhabi cruise terminal where the MSC Virtuosa will be docked is a short drive from the circuit, allowing guests to easily reach and return thanks to the free transfers. The MSC Virtuosa will be in port between November 23rd and 27th, offering guests the opportunity to extend their race weekend.
And the excitement won't stop when fans leave the track, as the festive atmosphere continues on board for guests with a specially designed program of themed activities, parties, and entertainment, as well as a dedicated program for children.
