Costa Cruises brings Starlink Wi-Fi internet aboard its ships from SpaceX

The SpaceX Starlink service has been introduced aboard the Costa Toscana ship, with plans to extend this service across the entire fleet by December.
Passengers and crew aboard the flagship vessel are already benefiting from this technology as the ship cruises in the Western Mediterranean. Costa Smeralda is set to be the next ship equipped with Starlink Wi-Fi internet.

Aboard the Costa Toscana - and subsequently aboard other Costa ships - passengers will have the opportunity to purchase Starlink connectivity packages, such as 'Pay Per Minute,' 'WhatsApp,' 'Social,' and 'Full.'
Starlink will provide fast internet connection and global coverage to stay connected even in remote areas and an enhanced web browsing experience onboard, including real-time sharing of experiences.
The new service will also improve communication between ships and shore offices, thereby optimizing various aspects of ship operations and ensuring a more spectacular cruise experience.
