A new cruise ship with a three-level karting track

Cruise enthusiasts looking for thrills can rejoice as Norwegian Cruise Line unveils the stunning features of the newest ship, the Norwegian Prima.

Scheduled to debut this summer, Norwegian Prima will be the first of six new generation sister ships designed by Fincantieri for the Norwegian Cruise Line. Numerous innovations inside, including an Ocean Boulevard characterized by infinity pools capable of creating a closer connection with the sea, a The Heaven area - the exclusive area on board - positioned for the first time at the stern, Indulge Food Hall, a food court with plenty of dining options, new themed restaurants, spectacular Broadway-style shows and more. It will be able to accommodate up to 3,215 passengers.

Perhaps the hottest innovation aboard Norwegian Prima will be Prima Speedway, the largest and first three-level off-road karting track.
The track stretches for about 420 meters and has 14 tight turns. It can accommodate 15 competitors at a time, with a section of the runway offering ocean views.

Karts can reach speeds of up to 50 kilometers per hour.
It is the most ambitious racetrack of the cruise line to date, but not the first.
Norwegian installed the world's first cruise go-kart track on Norwegian Joy (which debuted in 2017), followed by Bliss (2018) and Encore (2019).
